Sorry to keep you guys waiting, I just have a lot of stuff on my mind...

That was really cool! Plot was interesting, and the grammar was all correct.

Only thing I would say was, try not to 'rush' it. Take your time, add more detail, because it will make people more interested, and can help support the actual plot.

Aside from that, it's very good! You could build this up into a series sorta thing!

I appreciate your honesty.

I also think you should make your some of your stories should have solid endings where you know what happens. Just sayin.

Well know matter what everyone else thinks, I think they are great.

okay im back after like forever and a day, and I am ready to start writing. Yes cookie, you can be in my stories cause you think im awesome. I just wanna thank all of you guys for your comments. You rock

Im sorry for the huge delay-I realized I havent writtn a story since OCTOBER, so here it is.

Rather short, but also rather twisted.
The Dare

"Come on! What are you, chicken?"

The taunts rung in Lina's ears, but she wouldnt give in. The preppies were really getting on her nerves. For the last week, they had been bugging her about the stupid Dare. But she wasnt stupid.

The Dare had started off as a joke, thought up by a couple of kids a couple of years ago. Now everyone was using it. They'd joke about it, chanting: "Do the Dare! Do the Dare!" Unfortunately, some kids took it seriously. One person has tried to actually DO the Dare. He was sent off to a mental institution. No student saw him do the Dare, but they were still scared. A few weeks ago, someone had told the preppies the story of The Dare. They decided to use it to their advantage. The walked up to Lina, and Dared her.

Now it was a week later, and Lina still hadnt given in. The preppies were getting ticked off. They were determined to make her do The Dare.


Lina was worn down. A person can only take so much Daring before their will fades. She saw the preppies coming.
Fine. she thought. Ill do it.

Poor Lina.


She walked up to the Dare Door. It really was just a door, but it was the entrance to the Dare. The preppies looked at her expectantly. She stepped up and walked in.



It was insane.


When Lina stepped through the door, she knew she was in massive trouble. It was in the air, the scent of death, despair and horror.

She was scared.

If youve ever think youve been scared, TRULY scared, you havent. You have never experienced the TRUE gut-wrenching combination of anticipation and fear that any sane human shoves into the darkest, twisted corners of his mind.


Scared.

Lina was scared.

She stepped into the darkness, looking around tentatively.

Scared.

Lina ran, down a dimly lit hallway, searching for the thing they called The Dare.

Scared.

The path ended. Lina felt as if she might die of fright.

Lina was scared.

Fine, here. Lina looked around for an opening, anything. She realied how stupid she had been. She was scared out of her mind, buut she forced herself to think logically. She knew what the Dare was, she just had to execute it. She walked out into the middle of the room and shouted the actual name of the Dare. The thing that the Dare was all about.

Tonima.
The actual concept of the Dare was to face and defeat and ancient monster believed to be living in this very room. She was to bring back the body as proof.

Thud.

Lina tensed up.

Thud.

She turned.

Thud.

She saw.

Tonami was a lot like Godzilla, but more worm-like. He had the face of a dinosaur crossed with a lion, a body of a humongous worm thing. Its feet were related to that of elephants. Lina looked up. It roared, angry that Lina had made eye contact. She jerked her head downward. She saw a humongous flaw in completing the Dare;
It was HUGE. Tonami was the size of at least SIX two story houses all stacked up. At least. A monster of that size couldnt feel the worst of Linas attacks. It grabbed her, nearly crushing her. She stared into its yellow eyes, and it let out a roar that almost made Lina go deaf. Then he opened his mouth.

Lina sat bolt up in bed.

It was a dream.

Lina looked at the calendar. Tuesday. The final day of the second week of the preppies had been teasing her.
Lina knew one thing, though.

She would NEVER give in.

About the Author:
I dont really know where I got this one. Its not really my style, but those one-word sentences are used a lot in a book called Hatchet, which ive been reading. Sadly, cookie asked me for a nice story, and I just tottally forgot.
