Re: A Halloween Night
Right here, my old friend, right here. Thank you for the bump, cookie, and not allowing my stories to dissapear into the vault of trt forever. This one's for you, cookie!
Oh, how she hoped it was.
Jaz continued down the cold, bloodstained, concrete steps, all the while filled with a burning desire to run, run away and escape this hellhole. But then she thought of Daniel, the person she had shared 13 years of friendship with. She would save him.
Or die trying.
The basement was usually the most secluded place of Daniel's house, but that didn't stop it from being the two's most popular hangout in the thirteen years they had known each other. Memories of fun, happiness, and friendship filled the walls and the mind of Jaz, fueled by the thought of her best friend, Daniel. The one she had shared campfires, smores, happiness, jokes, and most importantly, friendship. This thought had repeated in her mind as she ran into the main room of the basement. She gasped in horror. The beautiful cerulean walls, covered in stickers shaped like stars, making it look like the night sky, had a giant hole in it, and there was a trail of blue-green thick syrupy liquid leading into the hole. The usually threadbare but comfortable couch was ripped to shreds, the wood supporters snapped in half and stabbed into the wall, stuffing from the cushions strewn all over the room. The large television that usually hung against the wall was smashed, plasma glass everywhere. The game system on which Daniel and Jaz had engaged in so many competitions with each other in was litterally IN the wall, the drywall shaped around it. and the smell, Oh, God, the smell was awful. Jaz nearly fainted on the spot from the disgusting aroma that had entered her nostrils. She shook her head, grabbed some cotton from the bits of couch that was left, plugged her nose, and charged into the hole.
Part Two
A faint growling sound came from the basement. Jaz froze, straining her ears for another sound, making sure that it wasn't a trick of the ears.Oh, how she hoped it was.
