My Siggeh Tutorial (GIMP)

Ok, here's another signature tutorial for y'all.

First create a blank document and make it 380x115 or whatever suits you.
Now fill the background with any color you like (I used light blue since it's icy)
Paste your render and smudge it around and then use some grunge for shattered ice (sorta)

Get your render and smudge it some more and get a C4d and place it where it looks good, then Gaussian Blur that to 2.

Paste your render again and IWarp it (Filter>Distorts>IWarp)

Paste your render and place it where you like.

Now get a circle fuzzy and use a light color and brush around to a side of the sig to give it a misty/light effect.
Use some Corrosion, Splatter, and Circle brushes and use clipping masks on them (Pro Technique -optional-)
Place your render in the same spot to cover up the brushes.
Add text, some gradient maps, a border, and rejoice... you're done!

it looked better before you added to bright lights behind it, kinda like water version or mario j.s

I agree with DS. The next-to-last step is utter pwnage without the final effect. Btw, did you have a clear Mario render, or did you use some kinda effect to make a normal Mario transparent? Cuz that's amazing.
