That awkward moment when...

That awkward moment when you realise that the person that you have the most in common with is your teacher.

-She teaches my favourite subject - English
-We love the same music - Imogen Heap/Frou Frou and Christina Perri are favourites :$
-We love classic movies
-We love Greek culture, cuisine etc.
-We love cooking
-We love to read
-We love travelling

There's so much more.

But the thing is, none of my friends like this stuff. And I wish there was someone that WASN'T my teacher who likes the same things as me. It's so annoying and also sad D;

We had open evening at our school last night, and I helped out in my 2 favourite subjects, Geography and English.

Geography was really good, we played on the Qwizdoms (These remotes that are compatiable with the interactive whiteboard, they're like quiz remotes ) and PLAY DO I got to know my teacher more, which was coo'.

English was also great, we made Sploosh (this peach drink from the book Holes) and put out some of our work on display from last year. My teacher had her iTunes on and she had some awesome songs haha so we talked about that for a bit.

I had a fun night.

Gah, I'm just a bit sad yknow, that none of my friends like the same things as me.

Welcome to my world... I've read some weird and not-based-on-real-facts surveys where they say that "there are at least 1300 people just like you". Sad part is I haven't met any of them bad-a** mofo's.

Aw, I know how you feel, bored. Just try to find some other major things you have in common with your friends, or find people here that like the same things you do.

'Tis the same here sadly, on a home-educated level anyway.
The person I have the most in common with is my dad.
The most I have in common with my friends however is:
We're all (hopefully...) human,
We're Home-Educated,
We're female.

Thankfully I have you lot with your great tastes in music to keep me sane though
