Goodbye TRT?

This isn't going the way I expected it to. People are quitting...people are saying that we should just go to chatango instead of trying to restore the bribble..people's responses are starting to be:
"We'll just get a chatango."
"There's still facebook."
"This place is a lost cause."

It wasn't supposed to be like this...this thread was supposed to stop destruction, not create it! Please...think about what's happening. If you seriously think that:
A. Going to chatango will help restore TRT to it's origional state
or
B. "Well they don't need me. Other people have quit, so it won't be the end of the world if I do too."

There is a time for change. Things can't stay exactly the same and perfect forever and ever. And I'm sure SG would rather save his money. Also, to CD's earlier message, Chatango is free. You can pay to support it, to get some additional chat features, but it isn't required. Chatango has a lot of people like I said before, and we could just go into the awesome Private Message system they have and send the link to everyone we see, I'm sure some people would end up coming, and some of those that come will stay. The first chat site I'd ever been to was a Chatango web page, which was how I first got introduced to it. We did exactly what I'm trying to tell you here to get more members, and it worked.

I still try to visit the forums whenever I can, but with my computer not working, I'm stuck using the computer everyone uses which gives me no privacy to come on the chat, or I'm on the iPod when the computer is occupied. Whenever it's fixed, I'll try my best to come to the chat.

I said something about Facebook, but I said Sure, there's MSN and Facebook, but I would miss the bribble and talking to you all in a group, and CD doesn't have FB, Jerry doesn't, etc.

What can we do? We need a plan. I'm all for this. I'm gonna make a SAVE TRT thread in a minute.

What really is the point in making threads like this aiming towards the "lazy skanks" if they're too lazy to get on. They won't see it. We need to stop making threads, because the people that don't get on won't see them, so we should either flood the skanks' FB walls with crude messages, ask them politely in a well-organized e-mail, or start fresh and forget about them lazy skanks.

harassing people to get back on doesn't work, not saying that i won't come back on when i get a computer, but it gets annoying. ac keeps bothering me about it and doesn't seem to understand that i CAN'T go on, and i would if i could. and another thing that bothers me is calling them all skanks. cause that doesn't make them want to get back on anymore. maybe that's also just because i'm half-hippie. :l

It's because of your hippy blood, and we are most definitely not calling you one of them, you still care. We're talking about the ones that don't get on when they can.

I just wanted to bump this thread to say that we've been doing better. The forums and chat have both been a bit more active. Here's something to try to do: Everyone try to create at least one new thread once a week.
