Strange Computer Occurences

Has something unexplained ever happend when you were on the computer? This just happend to me, these noises came from my speakers:
*Eagle Screech*: RAWRRRRREEEHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

i wasn't on any form of video or anything where i could here someone's voice come through my speakers. and the eagle screech...no idea. kinda creeped out. O_O

The only thing I could think of is a virus that's programmed to play random sound clips and random times. Other than that, you might be signed into a messanger like AIM or MSN without knowing it.

Probably an ad or something. Some ads do have voices and stuff. If you turned the PC on again and there's no problem, that's good. Although I would strongly recommend a scan and after an update of your anti-virus program.

I hate the dreaded blue screen. When the blue screen comes up I'm like "WTF HAVE I DONE?!?!"*panics* or when the laptop emits some loud beeps cause the power's low, it scares me to death.

If the sound's continuous, I'd suggest doing a system restore to a while before you got the sound. Another thing? If you don't want viruses... stay off facebook. I'd say 60% of the sponsered ads are the side are viruses, there's been reports on it and shiz. Still, a friend of mine doesn't use anti-virus and he never gets viruses, purely because he knows what sites he's going on and doesn't just go all click-happy, so it could be from any site.
