Art Comissions For Cancer

Hey amazing peoples of TRT :3 yeah when I start posts liek this I'm asking for something lmfao. In all seriousness this is a serious matter so bare with me and open your mind and heart on this one :< it's important.

So every year my school is home to a really amazing event called Relay for Life. It's coordinated by the Canadian Cancer Society which is making amazing progress in cancer research. Basically what we do at Relay is; there are teams of up to 10 people that take one day out of their lives and walk for 12 hours straight. TWELVE HOURS PEOPLE!!! To participate in this life changing event a team needs to raise 1000 dollars, 100 each person. What they've done this year is opened the donations to online donations where people can just use a credit card to sponsor teams. So to acheive the fundraising goal of 1000 dollars my team has decided to open up shop for an Art Comission Trade :] What this means is that the artistically gifted kids on my team are taking requests for art trades. We basically draw or write for you. Me and my friend Sam are doing drawing comisions and I think Danielle signed up for poetry. Sam also does fanfiction and stories, she's great, believe me.

So really this post is just a preliminary survey on whether or not you guys would go for something liek this and help sponsor us. The trades would only cost from 2 - 8 dollars depending on what you ask for. if you guys are interested then you can vote in the poll above and even if you're not i still need you to vote so I can see the numbers. It's inexpensive and you get a full picture of what you ask for and you know that you're donating DIRECTLY to the CCS, it's a legit site and company and just so you know, it's illegal to solicit money from children over the internet without giving somethign to them in return, so YES it's legit, because i'd rather NOT go to jail...

so yes, i asked sg already if i was allowed to post this so dont ask, we've already talked about everything and he's given it the thumbs up so yeah :] if you guys are willing to do somethign like this for us let me know and I'll post another informational post after i get some positive feedback. If you're worried about the art quality, don't worry we've both got deviantart accounts and you can sift through our many works you just have to ask :] sam's also setting up on Gaia online and we're both setting up on deviant art so oui, for now i just need your polled results.

well as far as i know, my teacher says that it's okay to use visa gift cards but if they dont work then well idk, sorry i wish they toook paypal i know that would have made it alot easier but idky they didnt

dont worry the fact that you were willing to help means alot because i know alot of people are like pfft thats dumb. its only untill they have someone very close to them like a parent die...
