Everlasting Lies
I haven't written a story for here for a long time. Constant bickering COUGHCOUGHCOOKIECOUGHCOUGH and this reading story I have to write is making me post something here. My last story seemed like a hit, so I will try to do it again.
My themes have changed so here it is. Everlasting lies. (Tis only a preview)
I have to leave now.
It’s not safe for me here.
If I stay, I will die.
And dying doesn’t seem like an option for me today.
Keeping secrets can be hard.
Especially when you didn’t intend to know them.
One mistake,
Falling dominoes.
Everlasting lies,
Shortcoming truth.
Today is the day that the Lord has made,
Today is the day that the devil will take.
Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Re: Everlasting Lies
Chapter one-Part 1
Wake me up, when September ends. The days are hard here. I feel lonely without a soul to cherish in. Is the hell that everybody talks about? I never knew it could be so painful, but at the same time peaceful. Here comes the rain again, falling from the stars. They’re drenched in my pain again, becoming who we are.
We never know what we have until it’s gone.
~Memoir of Teenage Soul
I finish writing part of my memoir and sit on my bed. It is lonely here in my room, nothing but furniture to company me. I turn my head slightly to the left, focusing my eyes toward the window. I wish to be outside in the dark. The moon shines brightly down on the lawn to where I would be staring back at it.
Damn my mother and her despicable rules.
I am trapped in here because of her.
Does not matter anyway; I have school tomorrow so I will be free.
Shame that I am here only for “talking back”. Waste of grounding abilities.
Oh, it’s getting late my friends. This author has to get some well deserved sleep. If only the sleep could last forever, lost in the dreams of the mind at rest.
If only the world was such thing.
Wake up, wake up.
Wake up, wake up.
Wake up, wake up.
The world is calling you. They want you! They need you!
Wake up, wake up.
Come on now!
Wake up.
It’s Monday. The first day of the school week. The day of freedom. Considered the day of hell.
Let’s meet the world I live in.
Shall we?
The world I live in is like no other. It is different you see in every way. Our technology differs I believe from you and me. Flying cars? No, there’s no need for that. Talking robot? Waste of metal. Talking walls? Is your mind alright? What I mean by technology is our world is place where we take advantage of the resources given to us. We love them with all our hearts. The technology we use is our brains.
Yes our brains. Did I speak Spanish? La tecnologĂa que utilizamos es el cerebro. Better? Good, let’s move along.
We use our brains. Technology is something to make our lives easier. So, instead of using oil, we use salt water. Our education standards have been raised and students not able to reach it have been issued private help. Of course our world is not perfect. We have our fights and dislikes and whatnot. But, we know now that ignorance and arrogance should not stand in the way of using our minds to help us daily.
Oh damn! I have to start getting ready for school.
Rambling in your head can take you places farther than you have ever gone.

Re: Everlasting Lies
You can see that the person curses a lot of rambles in their head.
Tell me what I have to work on for the next chapter and what you think is the real plot of this story.
Thank you

What year is it? Look a little deeper my friend.
Believe what you think it is, no answer is wrong.

Chapter 1: Part 2
Haha Ac! You decide after you read this.
The place was busy with workers, young and old, all minding their business. But something was in the back of their minds. Something big, unusual.
The president was coming.
Today was not the day to be wrong or not looking like you have something important to do. You could get your a$$ fired. The chief executive walked into the announcement room and spoke with a well firm tone into the microphone, “Today the president will be giving us a little visit. I expect everyone to be on their best behavior if you want your jobs. Assist him if you can but do not awe over him; it makes you look pathetic. That is all.”
“Excuse me sir, the president has arrived.” said the secretary
“Very well.”
They both walked out and went to the front door. There were the firm’s security guards plus the president’s guards. A beat up car was at the curb. The president’s guards opened the door and out walked the president. He had a formal suit on and his hair seemed freshly cut. The suit showed of his good shape that he kept himself in. His green eyes look toward the chief as and nodded his head. The chief nodded back, a signal of hello. His lips pursed and he strutted towards the open door.
He was not happy.
I bid my mother goodbye as I go downstairs. I grab a piece of toast and my book bag. I stuff the toast in my mouth and rummage in book bag pockets for my music player. I pull out a rectangle device and I lay it in my palm and take my forefinger and thumb and flick it. It automatically turns on and says my name. I request it to shift so it can fit my ears. It does so and I fit it over my ears like headphones. It adjusts to my head size so it won’t fall off. I put my book bag over my back and walk outside. I grab by skateboard and step on it to turn it on. It says my name and asks if I want directions to where I’m going. I say no and step on it again to ride it. Today seems like Beatles kind of day so I request my music player to play Beatles. Any song I add. It picks the Yellow Submarine. I start riding down the street from house, passing other houses and cars. Everyone seems in a rush. Good thing the government installed a safety zone for people who are not using cars.
In a town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed the sea
And he told us of his life
In the land of submarines
So we sailed into the sun
‘Till we found a sea of green
And we lived beneath the waves
In our yellow submarine
Hmm hmm hmm hmmmm……

Re: Everlasting Lies
I'd say this is really great. It seems to be something like, year 2030 or so.
I mean, on 2012 we will be able to go to a space hotel which is worth 3,500,000 million dollars, but I'm not going 'cause it doesn't include breakfast.
Anyways, my point is that it wouldn't weird if it was 2020 either...
But, it's still brilliant and well written. Congrats

Re: Everlasting Lies
I'm giving everybody a task.
What do find about this story so far that is unusual? Is there something that you don't see here that is written in most books?
Write down your explanation
