Hey guys! So like, we had this activity at school and we were asked to make a poem for some-important-person-in-school's bday and so.....i made a poem for her =D This can also be dedicated to anyone celebrating his/her bday sometime today. NOTE: I made this poem with my own mind, with my own hands, typing it at Sunday night, and I'm 11-going-12 years old. FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY. How We Have Aged

Days have passed and each of us have aged
Remembering the years of our old, jolly days
Mature and older, oh what have we become
Yet you remain simple; like a child so calm.

As a child, we have wondered why the world turns around
As we grow older, wonders fade and duties surround
Yet you still have the time to count the days of your life
And count each blessing that can always arrive

Here we are today, changed as our innocence have fade
Yet you have shown how our innocence can actually be retained
So we thank you for your childhood and lessons you have taught
For our realizations from you shall never rot

You have not existed but have lived a life, a rare blessing
So today we shall gather 'round and celebrate in exchange for your teaching
We will share to you 2 words not repeated everyday
And here it goes: Happy Birthday
