Tough Decision

Okay, so I assume many of you have heard of "America's Got Talent." Well, I found the pre-registration page for their 2010 season, and one of the categories includes imitations. As many of you also know, I'm quite good at doing The Joker's voice and body language, as well as other voices, so here's the question: should I sign up to audition?

Now I know this would be a simple yes to many people, but there are pros and cons.
Pros
-I could get into acting like I've wanted to
-I might get into Batman 3
Cons
-I'm not sure if I'm ready for fame(not to toot my own horn, but the imitation is pretty good)
-It would interfere A LOT with school and here(it takes place during Feb '10)
-I'm not sure where I'd have to travel(no locations announced yet)
-It might interefere with some of my future plans...
So, what do you think? Please post your opinions and vote.

I would love a friend to be famous, it would be hilarious and imo you're one of the best looking joker around ;P. Yes you should audition yes being famous would be awesome, yes you still could have some free time for school and yes after school work practice and bribble . Go for it! Oh and hope you don't get stage fright, I know I don't in front of 300 people as a school captain but on television, Watch yo back xD. And of cause ask your parents first.

For you pursuing your dreams, Yes, but for my opinion, I voted no. Besides the cons already, there are other factors that'd come into play. Are you sure you would be ready to do it, if you could prepare well beforehand and have the confidence not to want to quit out of it midway into it. Stage Fright could come into play if you aren't confident enough, as millions of Americans and hundreds of people around the world would be watching. But if you are SURE you are ready, I'm all for seeing you get into the final round :p, as you do a good Joker impression in my opinion.

I think you should. But when do you guys have Testing and SAT's over there in Virginia. If its in February, then don't go for it. Testing is a little more important than an ATTEMPT (By attempt, I mean, you could be awesome..but they might not like you D:) I say, if
theres nothing in February, then go for it.

Definately, go for it. Although, you should definately get additional impressions to do. I know that impressionists traditionally don't fare too well on the show, so you should really perfect them like you have with the joker, before going on.

Is that a trick question? You should definitely audition! You are very good at imitating The Joker

Parents are supposed to SUPPORT you; let you follow your dream.

I say screw your parents and just go for it... even though it usually Happens a few states away.. get UG to take you

SG..just ask your mother one question:WHY.SO.SERIOUSSSSS?! Then she will let you audition.

It's ur dream and besides, you're the one who is going not her! So you can't her decide for you. Probaly she is worried about you and scared that something might happen to ya.
