Bought New Bunnies!
Hey guys! Imma happy today. We bought our first 2 bunnies! YAYAYAY!!! Me and my bro had one bunny for the each of us. He owns the girl (the gray one) and I own the boy (the white one) (weird huh?). I named mine Edward and his Bella XD Why? Here's a short story.
While we went to the garden with the bunnies and watched them eat ;o, we were thinking of a name for them. Then, I suddenly said,
"EDWARD!!"
Then, I decided to name mine Edward! I told my bro to name his Bella and he agreed ^-^. Edward has red eyes while Bella has black ones. Its so cool!
I'mma tell you a bit of them. Edward is white and has red eyes. He's not very hoppy and all; he's pretty behave. He fell down on the floor twice already o.o He doesn't like being held and he's a boy. Meanwhile, Bella is some sorta opposite. She's gray and loves to hop around when she's on the garden (pretty hard to catch). But when she's inside the house and on the cage, she's very behave and shy and likes to hide. The two of them likes to cuddle with each other XD
If you guys got tips on how to take care of rabbits, please tell me. Its our first bunny lolz and I have only a few knowledge on how to take care of them.
Cheers,
Lynx

Re: Bought New Bunnies!
That's cool! I always wanted to own a pet rabbit. Also, as you know rabbits like to hop around, I think that you and your bro should change their cage. Buy a cage bigger so that they can play games, and you know...
But what's best is that you cuddle their fur. Rabbits enjoys it very much.

Re: Bought New Bunnies!
I cuddle their fur and their cage is big enough lolz. All I need to do is to buy them toys (which my mom disagrees) and potty train them.

Re: Bought New Bunnies!
lol, good luck with that. I know bunnies can be very cute, but dont let looks get the better of you!
What do you feed them?

Re: Bought New Bunnies!
We feed them vegetables. Every morning and afternoon we also send them to the garden to exercise and eat more veggies. They can also be a pain in the butt to me ;o

Re: Bought New Bunnies!
I own 12 rabbits, so Im guessing I have experience...
Well, the 'white one with red eyes' is classed as a REW. Red eyed white. The black eyed one, however, I do not know, have you got any pics?
Regards to vegetables, dont ALWAYS feed them it. Buy some good rabbit food. I suggest Science Selective. What types of veg do you give them?
Fruit-You did not state you give them it, which is good actually. My rabbits enjoy banana peel (o.O) but I dont know if that's them or what. Try them with a little bit. Do NOT give them strawberries or grapes on a daily basis. Same with cucumber, yet that's a vegetable.
Rabbits sometimes do not really pay attention to toys, but it's good to give them for a bit. My mom's friend, Chloe, has gave our rabbits some apple branches, and they enjoy chewing on them.
Give Bella and Edward a lot of attention. Rabbits love being stroked, having nose rubs and being played with. If they don't like being picked up, dont pick them up. IMPORTANT: PROTECT THEM FROM FLY STRIKE: YOU MUST PICK THEM UP TO CHECK THEIR bums SOMETIME.
Most of all, keep them HEALTHY.
If you need anymore advice or help, just ask.
Hope I've helped,
Bored.

=O BORED I HAS A QUESTION
So, my mom is freaking out of the poop cuz it won't get off from the screened flooring of their cage. So, she changed the flooring of their cage to floor tiles (yes its weird). What I'm worried about is, is it good for them? I heard that they slide when they walk on tiles (but apparently not really for them but still). Any help?

Re: Bought New Bunnies!
Lol in the video, almost at the end, the two rabbits seem like kissing instead of eating finish the vegetable.

Oops sorry for not replying XD
Well
I'll need to see a picture of the tiles, and what material? Are they marble (hard), or plasticy (soft)? If they're plasticy, thats fine, but hard tiles like marble or paving is a no no. Paving in a run would be fine, but marble nowhere. Sliding : Is it alot of the time, or is it just now and then? If it's now and then, thats fine, one of our rabbits does that and he's on wood o.O And have you checked their bums for Fly Strike? Because I dont think I made myself clear last time, you CONSTANTLY NEED to check them.

Ahahah, I just noticed that the video reminds me of the spaghetti scene from Lady & the Tramp.
