Coming Soon: TRT's Summer Party 2010!

Yello,

Summer's nearly here, and you know what that means: it's almost time for TRT's annual summer party! However, with my constricting school schedule this year, I haven't had as much time to think up ideas as I usually do.

Thus, I need your help. Post suggestions and ideas for the things you want to see and do at this year's summer party. Contests, CP parties, games- anything goes!

Any ideas that I use in the party will recieve 100TP!

We can have an igloo contest, like, best summer igloo, or best summer cafe igloo thingy contest?
We could also have a dance or prom at the nightclub or cove.
We could have a big hide and seek game across the island!
Or we could do a costume contest?
I have more ideas to come!!!

Nice ideas, bored! Anyone have any additional suggestions for forum-based activities?

I say, we do something, Not! CP related! As in! a Beach Drawing Contest? Or we could also do a contest as in, ''The Best Summer Name'' and have people change to a summer name like the ones in the Winter, and for the forums, we could have another scavenger hunt, those never get old :p

Ooh, I like the Best Summer Name idea. I think we could also do a summer makeover on our penguins, like dress them up ugly, normal or winter and have a team of people willing to do it change them to summer.

I think the Mod for a Day would appeal to lots of people in the same way TPs, membership and coin codes would. tbh. But I do think it would make a nice change.

Edit: Just created a list with some ideas I've collected from here, and some I've just thought of:
• Igloo Contest – Best Summer Igloo
• Prom/Dance – Held at Cove or Dance Club
• Games – Big Hide and Seek Game across the island, etc
• Costume Contest – Best Summer Outfit
• Beach Landscape Contest – Best Picture
• Summer Name Contest – Most creative summer name
• Forum/CP Scavenger Hunt – Across the forum or CP
• Summer Makeover – Dress ugly, normal or winter and a team of contestants makeover them summer style!
• Summer Art Awards – Hosted by Mimoz
• Mod for a Day Contest – Some sort of contest, prize of Mod for a Day.
• Forum Makeover – Say what type of summer style for the forum.

we could play a game sorta like heads up seven up where we draw seven names and then they choose one active chatter to "water balloon". we then assign one person for the entire game to inform the victims of their wetness P: the victims then use hints given from the "thrower" through the "teller" to try and figure out who threw a water balloon at them. If they figure it out in 24 hours then they get to switch places with the thrower and the ex thrower now becomes open to be hit with a water balloon. This goes on untill we find the person with the longest streak of not being caught throwing water balloons :B i think its a good idea :B

edit: i'll personally draw a picture with the winner being awesome and eluding ;] lol

how about we all agree on a song, then each and every active TRT member who wishes to join the sing-a-long would be assigned to sing one line from the song and submit a video of himself/herself singing it here in the forum. after, someone would arrange and mash up all the videos and make it the TRT SUMMER SONG
