I know it's a bit late, but here's a topic to discuss your thoughts on the movie Avatar. What'd you think if it? What do you think of the possibility of sequels? Discuss anything pertaining to the movie here.

I thought it was a good movie. It had soe draggy/unnecessary parts, but overall it had a good plot and message.

I Loved it!!! I liked the effects and the plot. And if u payed enough attention u cud realize that the year is like 2114 or something like that.

Can someone give a small plot summary? Idk what its about...but it looked too sci-fi for me, like star-trekk or something.

Basically the guy has to use his dead brother's avatar(a clone of a Na'vi body that a human can mentall control) to try to convince a village of Na'vi to move off a huge deposit of a valuable mineral. However, he falls in love with the chief's daughter and soon finds himself fighting his former comrades alongside the Na'vi.

That was a great movie, saw it over winter break. I liked those dragon like creatures they rode but the tail hair thingys were kinda creepy. Overall a great movie.

I loved Avatar before and thought it was breathtaking but we got a HD tv yesterday and we tried Avatar out.... affraid wow. That's all I can say,wow..

The way you summarized it reminded me of Pocahontas or something. It's weird.
I saw the movie, not in 3D. It was ok, the most interesting part was in the end in the battle.
