Haiti Earthquake

By now you've probably heard about the disaster over in Haiti. It's pretty sad. If your Christian, I'm going to tell you something that might interest you. It's said that back in the old days, Napoleon made a deal with the devil to protect him from the French, but at Haiti's cost. The devil took the deal, and ever since then Haiti has had one catastrophe after the other. Whereas in the Dominican Republic, on the other half of the island, is fine. It barely even caught sight of this 7.0 earthquake. Tuesday's earthquake death toll may exceed 100,000. And people are still dieing.
As I'm writing this, baby's moms are laying under rubbel,suffocating,dieing,praying. Haiti needs our help. If you want to help, go to www.redcross.org or http://www.google.com/relief/haitiearthquake/. Your parents can also send a check to: Center of Hope (Haiti), Inc.

I've seen those pictures before. It makes me wanna cry when I see them. I wouldn't be able to not cry if I was actually there looking at all the people. Today, my mom signed me and my sister to pack bags of rice for Haiti, I had a fun time..and I'm glad I did it. I hope the people that are still alive make it. It's sad. :'(

Wow. Rice bags? thats cool. where'd you send them? like to what adress? the red cross?

I think, I had fun. Two guys sealed the bags then threw them at me to put in piles of two. It was fun. :]

How big were the bags? Like huge sacs?

We did like 3500 hundred some meals. It gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. xD

At my school we all brought bags with food and some brought medicine too. Feels very nice.

And about the christian thing Ac... I'm christian, but I don't believe that story. Besides, hell is not that place with fire all over. It's just eternal remorse. Although that does sound bad -.-

...I'm pretty sure hell has fire. *facepalm* You don't have to beleive the story. Thats not what this post is about. But just so you know, Nopolean was even one of the suspected 3 anti-christs,so it makes sense. Nevertheless, this isn't a religon thread. It's about helping people. Please don't turn it in to one. I only put the story there for people it might interest.

Yea girlscout troop has been raising money and bagging food, etc. I've even texted in to the red cross to donate $10 each time i txt in.

You can have an opionon on the story. Just don't have an additute torwards it. It's just for people that find it interesting.
