The Internet Generation

There is the Hippie Generation who fought for love peace and the all out destruction of war and hate, there was the 80's generation determined to bring out new music and new technology, the 90's and the turn of the century and change, then the 21st century , our generation, the ones who grew up in the 2000's, and what are we pushing for? What are we trying to change in the world? Nothing. All we care about are MYspace,Twitter,Youtube,Iphones,Wii's, and listening to de[ressing music. I am yet to see a major push for something in our generation. Its all cause were all addicted to the internet. The internet has changed the way people do many things. First thing we do in the morning is go on the internet. And thats the last thing we do at night. Many of us would rather date someone theyve NEVER EVER met in their life on the intenret than try and connect to someone near them. We would rather talk our hearts out to someone on the internet than exchange a hi to our neighbors. I dunno about all of you but this is what ive seen people do. In My Opinion, Our generation is stupid, we are so addicted to the internet we forgot real life.

Some people(like myself) have disorders that prevent them from doing a lot of actual socializing. However, for the most part I agree with this. But perhaps social networking/the internet/techonology is the definition/revolution of our generation.

Honestly, I agree with your opinion. We are stupid. Our generation is stupid. What we should be focusing now is the future and our environment (yes I am an environmentalist much). LOOK AT THE WORLD.

Swine Flu.
Pollution.
Global Warming.
Loss of natural resources.
Destruction.
End of the world.

Those words above is a list of words that we need to act on. We shouldn't be focusing on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube or whatsoever. LOOK AT THOSE WORDS ABOVE FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!! I know that some of you don't believe in Global warming, but don't you believe in pollution? Swine Flu? I'm so gonna tweet this. No, not really...

Swine flu isn't done by us, It was naturally lit by a flu from a pig and it spreaded, but I agree with the others even though we're on a forum right now we still have to focus on these topics. Maybe some people should live life first rather than going on the computer. Even worser we have hackers and you can also be cyber bullied which is worser than being physically bullied. The internet is like a devil.

2012 might be the end ill have to say ill miss u guys if it does happen. Ill miss SG the most for what hes done for me

Thanks lynx and the world wont end in 2012, silly. Its a bunch of bull like Y2K. Unless sarah palin is elected president(impossible) then it will be turning the world into WWIII. And i know thje mayan calender says the world will end in 2012, but the mayan also believed that sacrificng someones heart would allow the sun to come up in the morning.
