Couple of Short Stories

The moon slowly rose from behind the nearby trees, a cool breeze cutting through the air. The wind blew away the scatters, fallen leaves, and caused the uncut blades of grass to dance. The moonlight cast a pale glow across the field. Two men stood ten yards apart from one another. One of them had black hair, and was wearing a red headband, the ends of which were following the direction of the wind. A determined gaze was set on the features of his face, focused upon the man across from him. He wore white attire; a karate gi. His bare feet got a feel for the bare, peaceful Earth. The other man closely resembled the black-haired warrior, but they were very much different. His hair was blonde, and his uniform was red, instead of white. A devious smirk was spread across his lips, his eyes holding the same intent.
"I've been waiting for this moment, Ryu," said the red-clad fighter.
"I've been training for this moment, Ken," replied the white-clad warrior.
"Hmph." Ken's smile slowly faded away, becoming a determined frown.
"Have you gotten better?"
"Much."

Alright, now for the second one, which I'm more proud of. I want to turn this one into a fanfiction, so I might. It's my take on how this scene in the game should've played out.

Gouken vs. Akuma

Gouken tossed his former pupil aside, to the ground. He landed on his stomach; he was in a coma. The Master hated seeing Ryu in such a state, which drove him to sealing away the Satsui no Hado that was consuming his body, soul, and his very being.
"So, you've sensed the intent..." Gouken said, turning his head back. His eyes flashed in the moonlight. "...Eh, brother?"
The demon Akuma approached, glaring at the old man. "You sealed it away? How dare you! Raging Demon!" He leapt into the air, speeding towards Gouken at a blinding speed, untraceable. However, an unknown force slammed into Akuma, causing him to suddenly stop. He fell to his feet, gracefully landing. The Raging Demon wouldn't be enough this time.
A sick smile spread across the Demon's lips. "The Power of Nothingness... Interesting."
Gouken turned around, facing Akuma directly. He stood in front of the fallen Ryu, the pupil that he had promised himself that he would protect.
"Why don't we fight, then?" Akuma growled, his legs spreading out as he claimed his fighting stance. A breeze cut through the air, blowing forcefully against them. The sign on Akuma's gi began glowing red, and an aura of the same color consumed him. "The winner claims the cub!"
