What instruments do you/have you played?

Hello fellow Rockhopper trackers!

What instruments have you played? Do you play any?

I have played: Saxophone, Clarinet, Drums, and currently i play guitar

I failed clarinet epically, Saxophone i did pretty well, Drums i failed like hell, and on guitar i am doing well

Advantages and Disadvantages of each instrument:

Clarinet:

Advantage: Err, i dont really know...
Disadvantage: You need a reed to play, and it has a woody taste (yuck!)

Saxophone:

Advantage: Easier than clarinet 100%
Disadvantage: big, woody reed taste (yuck!)

Guitar

Advantage: Fun, awesome, cool, gangster, etc.
Disadvantage: NOTHING!

Drums:

Advantage: I dont know
Disadvantage: One of the harder instruments,

I used to play the recorder. Yeah..the recorder. I was pretty beast..

i play the trombone, and piano.

*Guitar

Advantage: Fun, awesome, cool, gangster, etc.
Disadvantage: takes a lot of practice to get good at it, and most kids these days would rather pluck a few strings and say their a rockstar.

I play the entire family of saxophones (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Baritone), and I play the Bassoon.

Saxophone Pros: Wide range; You can play a varieyt of music styles
Cons: Gets boring after a while; sometimes a pain when switching; weight

Bassoon: Pros: Neverending Notes; Play in all clefs (Bass, Tenor, Treble); Extremely fun to play
Cons: Hard to get to pitch; Double Reed; a LOT of thumb keys (around 16); weird fingerings; sometimes weird sound lol

I've never played anything and probably neve will. And sameer and Arma, do you guys play acoustic or electric?

hm....kazoo piano recorder guitar trombone flute xylophone triangle bass chimes drums harpsicord harp harmonica accordion tuba and french horn.

Uhh.... Flute, Recorder, Triangle, Wood Block, Clarinet, Bass Drum, Snare Drum, Guitar, French Horn, Trumpet, Tuba, Trombone, Saxophone, Timpani, Harmonica, Piano, and Bells.

Note- These are instruments I've played not learned how to play... just played.

i play a few instruments, but personally, here are my favorites:

Guitar
Advantages: cool, can fit for any kind of music except for the fast ones....but still, if you make guitar covers for fast pop songs, still comes out well :]]
Disadvantages: none =D
NOTE: Im more of an acoustic guitarist..........

Piano
Advantages: its amazing :]] i just have to learn it more though......
Disadvantages: so many types and each type sometimes lacks some keys so you cant really play much songs............not unless you have a grand piano.......=[[
NOTE: I just have a keyboard, which sucks sometimes cuz it lacks keys.............

Ya my fave is the piano, but i was lucky enuf to get an upright piano for free. outta tune a little and some keys r messed up but you jus gotta learn how to play it right to make it sound nice. There is a special connection between a gal and her piano ;D

I play the wonderful Trumpet!

Pros: So fun to play, wide range of notes, and can blast the ears off of somebody head! :]

Cons: Makes my lips sore, sometimes hard to get high notes, and takes some air!

I play drums I've been playing for a year and a bit...

Im pretty good.

I play Piano and Guitar

i play the baritone six-string ukulele (electric and acoustic) and the fretless bowed four-string acoustic mandolin.
