Chat and Forum Extreme Inactivity

Post by Acdog on Wed Jun 30, 2010 9:23 pm

Yea, the title explains it. It's plain to see that things are starting to go downhill. Nobody hardly comes on the forums anymore...and the chat is dead most of the time. It's ridiculous. We need to get TRT moving and back in action. How do we do that? I say fresh, more active people.

My goal is for everyone to recruit at least one person. And that dosen't mean someone that comes on for two minutes, then leaves. It means introducing a new regular to the chat, and not scaring them off or letting them loose interest.

The older generation is dieing off...we need the next one. Start recruiting.

Post your thoughts and opinions on this matter, and what you think we can do for a sort of "TRT Restoration Project". We need new, fresh ideas to keep the forums going and the chat fun. Without them, we WILL die as a community, so please post your ideas on what we can do to make TRT a more entertaining, fresh, and very much alive place. Thanks. -Ac

I agree. Whether anyone wants to admit it or not, this place is going downhill. More members are getting lazier and lazier every day, so it only makes sense to replace them with people that actually care about the community.

I agree with your suggesting people idea. Methinks we should try it.

It all Comes down to Persepctive.

People are getting older, Hanging out more with friends. Getting Jobs etc etc.

I agree about the new Generation. TRT is slowly moving on and that's what's going to keep on happeing... If more people decide to keep it going

I used to think of a day I enter the chat at like 25/30 and see the New Generation and tell them stories. Peadophilia? I dont think so :]

I don't think I can bring anyone. I once told my cousin to come, I think he registered and showed up once, and then he sat on his lazy a** playing with his PSP.

Guys. The people you recruit DON'T have to be people you know in real life. You can even use cp or game sites you go to, like hellmoo, arcanists, ect.

I was going to make a topic like this but then I found this so I'll just bump.

Anyway, I'm putting a link to this forum in all of my signature's on the other forums I go to, I'll try to get some people I know irl to register but I'm not sure how succesful that'll be.
Also, now that we're no longer a Club Penguin forum it's going to be a bit harder to advertise. Before you could have advertised on a CP forum but we're more just General now.

So, any ideas for advertising, people? This place needs it.
