Your Vision of the Afterlife?

Your Vision of the Afterlife?

Post by Sir Gamealot on Mon May 17, 2010 7:58 pm

This question randomly crossed my mind: Do you believe in life after death? If so, what do you think it will be like? Will you get to reunite with old friends and family? Do whatever you want?

I haven't ruled out the possibility of an afterlife, but it seems unlikely. I doubt the souls of animals go anywhere when they die.

However, it is true that energy can neither be created nor destroyed, so I personally believe that the energy that composes our souls either dissipates back into nature or exists on Earth apart from our body as a spirit when we pass away.

Discuss.

I've been asked this today too. It's rather odd, being asked twice o.O
Anyways, I can't really say. I haven't thought of it much. I guess we will be able to live again, as humans, or an animal. There's always a possibility we're given a second chance to live, and that's Afterlife.

For me, floating through the universe for eternity is afterlife. I love outer space, and if there was an afterlife, I would spend it exploring the whole universe. Smile

I'd like it if you could do whatever you wanted and to be able to see all of you passed relatives. Never really thought of it that much though.

I thought it would be cool if the afterlife was like a controllable dream, where you could see anyone, anytime, and do basically anything. So, yeah,I just thought that would be cool.

Same as Ac, yet I'm Catholic. Do Christians believe in Purgatory? Jw Smile And I sometimes feel bad for my friends as they are different religions and I feel that they won't get to 'experience heaven' ;(

Depends on the person. Altough, it says in the bible that 'There is no inbetween.'

Personally, I don't believe it. I think there's just heaven and hell. But if there was a purg, I'd say it'd be on Earth. That would explain deamons, ghosts, ect.
