christmas trees

Does your family put up a christmas tree each year? If so, around when, and do you have an artificial one, or do you go chop one down every year?

Ours is artificial and we just put it up! Here's a pic I took to amuse myself:Don't worry, there's regular ornaments there now. I was just bored. xP

Well I didn't even set it up. And now starting since two years ago our trees have been fake. But since I was little we used a real tree over and over again and then it decided to like fall apart X]

I'd like to have a real tree, but my dad dosen't like going and chopping them down. And 'they can cause fires'. So prob artificial. Cool tree though SG. Now take a pic of how it looks now.

do u use one of the tree waterer things? they can start fires....somehow? o-O?

Well we use those water things, and it wont cause a fire if you dont place it near electrical outlets or fireplaces

That's exactly why I prefer articificial. And could you get on, AC?

No I cant. It wont let me. Im getting ready to do a post with a screenie of the problem. I wish my dad would let me get a real tree...

We have a white, artificial tree that we've used for the past few years. Some of the "branches" light up in different colors too. =] Our cats sleep under it too, even tho it's not real. lol. I might put a pic of it later.

Aahaaa..I found thar in Hallmark for $12.50. It now resides on our tree.

my tree has always been artificial, parents said they're had it for 20 years....theyve never replaced the box either. so eveery year we rip the box open cuz we're too lazy to get a knife and then we tape it back up when we're done XD! but yeh first time my mom has ever bought new ornaments, they're blue and orange meh w.e :] and im pretty sure artificial trees can catch fire too... pretty much anythign can catch on fire. HEY did you know that margerine melting at a certain temperature causes it to become a carcinogen.... so.... REAL BUTTER ALL THE WAY xD ill still use margerine im goin to hell anyways P:
